R.S. Painting Co., Inc. is committed to enhance the quality of life for residents of the community in which it operates.  For many years Reginald Swiney has offered training and employment to at risk youth and young adult men.  Many who started without High School diplomas have moved up and on to become productive citizens.  R.S.P. receives no money or government grants. 

Never the less Reginald Swiney's commitment to the community has never wavered.  He offers mentoring to new painting companies and provides technical assistance while meeting the demands of managing a successful business. 

Reginald Swiney is an active member of many organizations and is one of the founders of the Minority, Women, and Small Business Trade Association.  R.S. Painting Co., Inc. actively participates in many minority women and small business conferences, particularly the Dormitory Authority of New York State's Annual Minority/Women/Small Business Conference held in Albany each year.

The most recent completed project is a $140,800.00 DASNY contract on the first phase of the Medger Evers College construction project.  Located in Brooklyn the Medger Evers project first phase is valued at 13 million dollars.
